What's happening here
A heart of the community local, the Walnut Tree is very much the centre of events in Loose, hosting a regular raft of entertainment each month.
Twice a month we host #SaturdaySounds with live outside music from 4pm, karaoke once a month on a Saturday and quiz night once a month on a Friday. Like our Facebook page or check our blackboards for details.
Always generating a great atmosphere, keep your eyes peels for our Jamming nights which will be making a return in the coming months. Of course, you’re perfectly welcome simply to come along and listen over a pint, too
Indeed, the less musical may be more interested in joining our sports teams. Ask at the bar for more details of our darts, poker and football teams, or even start a new sport of your own!
We also have Poker nights every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm, contact us in advance to reserve your seat.
Want to watch the sport on TV?
We have three TVs inside and an outdoor TV, showing BT Sport and Sky Sports. Make sure you ring ahead to check if we're showing a specific game/match!

Functions & Private Hire
We are available for private hire and functions. Just get in touch to see how we can help make your event perfect! We also have our beautiful beer garden available to hire for outdoor events, including a marquee. We have a selection of buffets to choose from, including finger food and hot food. Please contact us to enquire about holding your function with us.
